The CoolBlue II is the second new processor cooler in the range of silent and cost effective SI / retail CPU coolers topped with the all new codename: BlueStar patented dc fan by Spire.
The inverted 'BlueStar' fan design is an evolved version of the Diamond fan design. Spire engineers have reduced the spokes that hold the fan motor and elevated them to create a greater air intake area and to reduce the resistance of spokes which can sometimes cause a high-pitched sound.
The Spire CoolBlue II new Micro-Processor cooler is made to fit all the latest AMD processors such as the Athlon and Sempron AM2 processors. The CoolBlue heat-sink contains a large copper core for faster heat dissipation and is equipped with a 3 prong clip on each side for solid and tool-free assembly.
Main features:
* Extremely silent BlueStar Fan * Copper based Heatsink design * Secure and solid Tool-free installation * Silent at only 19.0dBA! * Retail packed in full color packaging Product Includes : *Owner Manual *Stars-420 White grease

I'm building an HTPC with some serious height restrains. The CPU cooler cannot be taller than 35mm. This cooler seems to fit quite well but I wonder if it can cool the CPU I'm thinking of using: AMD Athlon II X2 250. |
