CPU Cooler Installation Manuals (only) Socket A/462/370 Tool-less clip Socket 604/603/432 Tool-less clip Socket 478 Tool-less clip Socket 478 Easy Clip Socket 754/940/939 Easy Clip Socket 775 Tool-less Socket 775 Tool clip Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket A/462/370. Step 1. Please remove any protective film or covers before cooler installation. Step 2. If the heat sink base of the cooler does not contain any thermal interface material (picture A) Please take the cooler and apply a small amount of the thermal paste provided to the center of the base of the heat-sink. (Picture B) A B Step 3. Gently put the cooler on the CPU, Latch tail of clip to protruding ear on the side of the ZIF socket. Step 4. If the clip provided on this cooler does not have a tap to push down (picture A) Please insert a 4mm flat bladed screwdriver into the pocket of the clip and than push down and leaver back so it clips over protruding ear on the opposite side of ZIF socket. (Picture B) AB  Step 5. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Assembly finished.   Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 604/603/432/Intel Xeon. Step 1. Please remove protective film before cooler installation. Step 2. Put the supporting black clip (not supplied with the CPU cooler) on the mainboard and push down until it locks. Step 3. Put the cooler on the CPU, latch tail of the metal clip to protruding ear on the side of the supporting clip. Then push down and leaver back so it clips over protruding ear on the opposite side of the supporting clip. AB Step 4. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Step 5. Assembly finished. Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 478 Tool less clip. Step 1. Please remove protective plastic cover before cooler installation. Step 2. Put the supporting black clip (not supplied with the CPU cooler) on the mainboard and push down until it locks. Step 3. Fit the leavered clip and then push down and leaver back so it clips over protruding ear on the opposite side of the supporter. AB Step 4. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Step 5. Assembly finished. Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 478 Easy Clip. Step 1. Please remove protective cover before cooler installation. Step 2. Fit the CPU cooler into the supporting black clip (not included with the CPU cooler) on the mainboard. Step 3. Put one hand on the cooler to hold it, then push down the handle of the clip, so it clips into the holes of the supporter on the mainboard. Step 4. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Step 5. Assembly finished.       Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 754/940/939 Easy Clip.   Step 1. Take the cooler and apply a small amount of the thermal paste provided to the center of the base of the heat-sink. Step 2. Fit the supplied supporter bracket to the upside of the motherboard. Insert the supplied screws to each post. Do not tighten them fully until all have been tightened equally cross ways. Step 3. Gently place the cooler over the supporter bracket and attach the end with the screw driver slot to the plastic frame. This is the end opposite to the locking leaver. Step 4. At the lever end of the fan assembly push the clip down until it locks over the plastic frame. Rotate the leaver until it locks into place. Step 5. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Step 5. Assembly finished.   Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 775 Tool-less. Step 1. Please remove any protective film or covers before cooler installation. Step 2. Take the cooler and apply a small amount of the thermal paste provided to the center of the base of the heat-sink. Step 3. Once the CPU has been fitted gently place the cooler onto the motherboard ensuring that the fixing push-pins align with the 4 openings on the motherboard. Step 4. Fit each of the clips to each opening. Once the cooler has been fitted onto the motherboard, push down the black clips and turn clockwise to secure the cooler. AB  Step 5. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Assembly finished.   Installation procedure for patented design clip model: Socket 775 Tool Clip. Step 1. Fit the supplied support bracket to the underside of the motherboard. Outstanding must be up to reach the hole of motherboard and the flat surface opposite. Step 2. Please remove any protective film or covers before cooler installation. Step 3. Take the cooler and apply a small amount of the thermal paste provided to the center of the base of the heat-sink. Step 4. Once the CPU has been fitted gently place the cooler onto the motherboard ensuring that the fixing clip/screw holes align with the support bracket. Step 5. Fit each of the clip/screws to each post. Do not tighten them fully until all have been tightened equally cross ways. Step 6. Connect the fan connector onto the motherboard fan header. Step 7. Assembly finished.
